Brief and a map of the content

We pin down what a visitor needs to know before they get in touch. That is the foundation of a site that works.

Weeks 1–2

Design and build

I build it around how you work and around your customer. I test it on different devices and tighten the performance. We go through the detail together until you're happy with it.

Support and what comes next

A walkthrough of how to run it, phone support, email, and we stay in touch. If you want an ongoing arrangement while the site grows, that's there too.

Twenty-five years where technology and business meet — e-commerce, IT, web hosting, manufacturing. I've been designing and writing software since the early web. For seven years I ran my own shops in food and eco products, with my own warehouse and with outside logistics.

I run every project myself. I know what a few hundred orders a day looks like, a catalogue that turns over with the season, and a back office under time pressure. I design with that in mind, not only from a developer's chair.
